We don’t make you happy reading legal language, but we carefully formulated our Privacy Policy to make it as clear as possible how we treat you and your content in Products or Services of MultiplyHappiness. MultiplyHappiness (“MultiplyHappiness BV”, “HappyWe”,”HappyWeWork”, “we,”us”,”our”) is committed to protect the privacy and personal information of, as well as to providing a safe and secure environment for, its users.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) is to help you understand the kind of information we may gather about you when you visit the sites or use any of our services, how we may use that information, in which manner we will disclose it, and how you can correct/or update the information.

Our goal is happiness, our app focuses on personal happiness. Our sole intention for this app is to “multiply happiness’. This way we want to contribute to a ‘world gratefully focusing on everyday happiness’. What we envision is people using the app ‘sharing moments that matter with people who care’. MultiplyHappiness is about real life, relevant moments and very close connections. Everything in the app is designed to encourage users to connect with their inner circle and multiply their happy moments. All personal data is only accessible through a personal user account. And the personal connections, whom you have granted access to read/view/comment your moments. Our sole intention is to share and multiply happiness and as such create a happier world together.
4. definition of personal data
MultiplyHappiness may requir, as part of its business, to collect personal information. This includes names, first names, email addresses, home addresses, or phone numbers. When users do their personal updates in HappyWe – MultiplyHappiness will process and store this information accordingly. Personal data is collected to enable MultiplyHappiness to identify its users and improve the quality of its services. Finally, based on these data, MultiplyHappines keeps statistics of the services offered for the purpose of research, project planning, assisting with troubleshooting encountered problems, preventing errors, fraud and other criminal activity.
5. use of personal data
By opening an account and /or downloading the app, we trust that you will use this app solely for Multiply Happiness. We will do this in an open and happy making way: we avoid anything that could make users unhappy. So there will be no advertising in the app, nor any direct marketing use of personal data.
You may be given an option to create an account using third party sites like Facebook or Twitter. If you choose either of these options you will be asked to allow Happy We to access basic information associated with your Facebook or Twitter account and other public information you provided in these accounts.
Data is personal. Access is exclusively for the user, and his/her personal connections. When you choose to share data with your personal connections, it is at your own responsibility. Identifiable personal data (updates in combination with personalized information) will not be made available to third parties.
Non-identifiable or aggregated data can be used for specific general purposes (overviews, science, education, general interest). We make sure, that in that case third parties will not receive data, that can be traced back to individual users. Private data remain private. General data can be made general.
6. right to delete personal data by user
Updates in the app done by users can be removed by the user at any time in the app (“delete update”).
Users can remove their account and related personal information at any time – by sending an email to support@multiplyhappiness.nl.
7. data protection
MultiplyHappiness takes reasonable steps to protect personal data provided from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Data will be backed-up and protected on our server. Protection-level will be high, within reasonable standards. However, no internet, mobile or e-mail transmission is ever 100% fully secure or error free. We will do our maximum effort to facilitate constructive use, and prevent misuse. Users select with whom they connect (and give access to personal data). And they can remove a connection at any time. Individual users are responsible and accountable for their own use of this app, and with whom they connect.

The Products and Services of MultiplyHappiness may change from time to time. As a result, at times it may be necessary for MultiplyHappiness to make slight changes to this Privacy Policy. MultiplyHappiness reserves the right to update or modify this privacy policy at any time and from time to time without prior notice. Please review this policy periodically, and especially before you provide any personal data. This Privacy Policy was last updated on the date indicated below. Your continued use of MultiplyHappiness Products and Services after any changes or revisions to this privacy policy shall indicate your agreement with the terms of such revised Privacy Policy.
